Matthew Horsfall is an experienced software developer with a strong background in Perl and software engineering. Currently, Matthew serves as a Senior Software Developer Team Lead at Fastmail since August 2016, following earlier roles as a Senior Software Developer and Software Developer within the same company. Matthew is actively involved with Perl 5 Porters, contributing to the maintenance and development of Perl 5 since April 2014, and has authored modules for CPAN since April 2011. Previous positions include Senior Software Programmer at Infinity Interactive, Security Researcher at Akamai Technologies, and various roles including Senior Software Engineer and Application Developer at Dyn. Additionally, Matthew contributed to the UnrealIRCd Project between April 2007 and April 2008, focusing on bug fixing and feature implementation.
