Solly Ross has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. They started their professional career in 2011 as a Backend Developer Intern at Memolane. In 2012, they worked as a Software Engineering Intern at Rothbury Software. The following year, in 2013, they joined Red Hat as an Associate Software Engineer and later transitioned into the role of Software Engineer. In 2015, they became a Senior Software Engineer at Red Hat for a short period before moving to Google in 2018. At Google, Solly initially worked as a Software Engineer and later advanced to the position of Senior Software Engineer. After three years at Google, they joined Fastly in 2023 as a Staff Software Engineer.

Solly Ross attended Worcester Polytechnic Institute from 2010 to 2013, where they pursued a partial Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mathematics and Computer Science.
