Leon Brocard is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in solutions architecture, open source development, and software engineering. Currently serving as a Principal Solutions Architect at Fastly since July 2015, Leon specializes in efficiently onboarding customers and driving innovation at the edge. With a long-standing role as an open source developer at CPAN, Leon has contributed significantly to the Perl programming community. Previous positions include Development Manager at PhotoBox, CTO at Ocubis Ltd, Technical Director at mrmonkey, Senior Developer at Foxtons, and Head of Backend Team at Fotango, where Leon led major projects and initiatives. Leon holds a BSc in Mathematics and Computing from Imperial College London, completed in 1997.
