Brent Kobayashi, SHRM-SCP, has a diverse and extensive work experience in various industries. Brent recently joined Fast Pace Health in December 2021 as the Senior Director of People and Culture. At Fast Pace Health, they contribute to providing accessible and cost-effective healthcare to underserved communities in multiple states.

Prior to Fast Pace Health, Brent worked at Sound Physicians from February 2020 to December 2021 as the People Development Manager. In this role, they oversaw the development and growth of the organization's employees.

From November 2018 to February 2020, Brent served as the Director of People Development and Talent Management at Aegis Living.

Before that, from November 2015 to November 2018, Brent contributed to DaVita Kidney Care as the Training and Development Manager, Revenue Operations. Brent developed and implemented various training programs and onboarding initiatives for employees across different locations.

From October 2013 to November 2015, Brent worked as the Talent Development Manager at EZCORP. Brent was responsible for implementing the company-wide Talent Management System and played a key role in developing the company's employment brand.

At EZCORP, Brent also held the position of Director of Training, US Pawn and Retail from July 2012 to October 2013. Brent directed a team of trainers and was involved in various training and development initiatives.

From March 2011 to August 2012, Brent served as the Leadership Development Specialist at EZCORP, where they developed leadership content and implemented the Talent Management System.

Earlier in their career, Brent ran their own business, Brent Kobayashi Consulting, from July 2004 to March 2011. Brent provided consulting services to clients during this time.

Before that, Brent worked at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts in various roles. Brent served as the Regional Training Manager from July 2001 to June 2004, where they were involved in training and development initiatives for over 60 hotel locations worldwide. Prior to that, they were the Training Manager from February 1999 to June 2001, responsible for implementing learning and education programs.

Brent also gained experience as a Software Implementation Consultant at Innovative Hospitality Solutions from June 1998 to January 1999.

Earlier in their career, Brent worked at Pan Pacific Hotels Group as the Manager of Education & Development from October 1995 to May 1998. Prior to that, they held the positions of Room Service Manager and Executive Steward from February 1993 to October 1995.

Brent started their career as a Restaurant Supervisor and Consultant at Listel Hotels from November 1991 to November 1992.

Brent Kobayashi, SHRM-SCP, completed their education in the field of Hospitality Administration. From 1987 to 1989, they attended the British Columbia Institute of Technology, where they focused on Hospitality Administration. In 1987, they also briefly studied Hospitality Administration at Okanagan College.

In addition to their formal education, Brent Kobayashi has obtained various certifications to enhance their professional skills. Brent became a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certified by HRCI in June 2013. Brent also achieved the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) designation from SHRM in February 2022. Alongside these certifications, they acquired a Certified AVA Analyst certification from AVA Assessment Associates, Inc. in March 2022.
