Shivam Gusain is an Innovation Analyst at Fashion for Good since July 2022, specializing in research on sustainable technologies and innovations in the global apparel supply chain, particularly in wet processing and water treatment. Responsibilities include collaboration with cross-functional teams to support pilots and projects, ensuring successful validation of innovators' technologies, and leading initiatives like the Dyestuff Library and Black Pigment Project. Prior experience includes an engineering internship at UPL, where Shivam focused on the synthesis and application of NaHS and Na2S, and the production of high-yield value-added chemicals and solutions for effluent treatment. Another internship at Metallurgical Products India Pvt. Ltd. involved the production of Ammonium para Tungstate and separation of Tantalum and Niobium, alongside developing effluent treatment solutions. Shivam holds a Master’s degree in Water Engineering from Uppsala University and a Bachelor of Technology in Dyestuff Technology and Intermediates from the Institute of Chemical Technology.
