Sheryl Morse brings 30+ years’ experience in the field of accounting both as an auditor and most recently as the CFO for a large, privately owned poultry processor. Throughout her career, Sheryl has audited numerous businesses in the agricultural industry from small, family-owned single crop farms to large vertically integrated corporations. Sheryl has experience in accounting for all types of crops, including row crops, vineyards, citrus, stone fruit, tree nuts, and poultry. While practicing public accounting, she not only obtained her CPA license, but also became a certified fraud examiner and was a member of the State of California Peer Review Committee, as well as a qualified peer reviewer. Since 2017, Sheryl has worked in the private poultry sector where her responsibilities included preparing financial statements, performing internal audits, budgeting and forecasting, establishing and monitoring internal controls, supervising accounting staff, and reporting to lenders and stakeholders. Sheryl graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a bachelor's degree in Accounting. She is currently a licensed CPA and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
