Michael Fawcett's work experience includes being the Director of Engineering at Farmhouse Potato Bakers Ltd since November 2003. Michael Fawcett started their career as an Aircraft Electrical Mechanic in the Royal Air Force, where they worked from January 1986 to January 1996.

Michael Fawcett's education history begins in 1979 when they attended Pudsey Grangefield Comprehensive, where it is unclear if they pursued a specific degree or field of study. In 1984, they enrolled in Leeds College of Building and completed their first year, receiving an ONC in Building Construction Technology. Following this, in 1986, they attended RAF Halton No.1 School Trade Training, where they studied aircraft electrical maintenance.

Continuing their education, Michael went on to Stamford College in Lincolshire from 1991 to 1993, earning an ONC in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. In 1993, they pursued higher education at the Cardiff Institute of Higher Education, completing a HNC in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from 1993 to 1996.

Around 2007, they attended Beverley College and obtained a NEBOSH Certificate in Occupational Health and safety. Following this, in 2013, Michael attended HETA in Hull, East Yorkshire, completing a course on Electrical Installations, 17th Edition, earning a C&G BS7671: 2008 certification.
