James Lewis is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in agribusiness lending and asset management. Serving as the Vice President, Senior Relationship Manager, and Special Assets Manager at Farm Credit of Central Florida since January 2013, James has generated over $120 million in new loan volume across thirteen counties. Prior to this role, James held the position of Senior Vice President, Relationship Manager, and Special Assets Loan Officer at SunTrust, where responsibilities included managing high-profile problem assets. Earlier in the career, James served as Assistant Vice President at Barnett Bank, recognized as the top graduate of its Management Associate program and the youngest Assistant Vice President in the Commercial Real Estate Division. Education credentials include an MBA from Southeastern University and a BBA from the University of Central Florida.
