Al Bassett currently serves as a Compliance Manager and Operational Compliance and Clinical Program Lead at Farm Bureau Health Plans since March 2023. Prior to this role, Al held the position of Head Volleyball Coach at Murray Independent School District from May 2022 to March 2023. Al has extensive experience in the military as a Special Operations Aeromedical Physician Assistant for the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne) from November 2016 to March 2023, and in various roles within the US Army from 1994 to 2023, including Aeromedical Physician Assistant and Psychological Operations Specialist. Al also gained expertise in project management as a Project Manager at Trainor Glass Company from June 1999 to January 2002. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and a bachelor's degree from Northern Illinois University.
