Sailifa Nzwalo has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Currently employed at Farasis Energy since 2022, Sailifa holds the position of Senior Business Analyst as well as Sales Operations Analyst. Prior to this, Sailifa worked as an Independent Consultant under their own name, specializing in research and consulting services. Sailifa also served as a Consultant at Dianova International from 2018 to 2019. Before that, Sailifa was an Economic and Financial Consultant at Rovuma consultores from 2015 to 2016. Sailifa's earlier experience includes working as an Associate Economist at PARTNERSHIP INTERNATIONAL from 2011 to 2014 and as Chief of Controlling and Credit Division at Total from 2003 to 2009.

Sailifa Nzwalo obtained a Master's degree in Economics from Western Illinois University from 2010 to 2011. In 2012, they completed professional training in Commercial Practice for the Energy Sectors at Robert Gordon University. Sailifa also attended a summer school at San Diego State University in 2010, although the field of study is not specified. For their undergraduate education, they attended Nova School of Business and Economics from 1998 to 2002, earning a degree in Economics with a focus on Development Economics and International Development. As part of their undergraduate studies, they participated in the Erasmus Exchange Program at Maastricht University in 2001, focusing on Business/Managerial Economics. In addition to their formal education, Sailifa recently obtained a certification in Gender Analytics: Gender Equity through Inclusive Design Specialization from Coursera in May 2021.
