Tuğçe Aker has over five years of experience in the technical product management field. From 2015 to present, they have been a Technical Product Manager at REENGEN and Faradai. At REENGEN, they are also a Shareholder and Product Manager, where they work on cloud-based IoT company that creates smarter buildings and smarter energy grid. From 2014 to 2015, they were a Project Research Assistant at Istanbul Technical University, where they worked as a building energy analyst in The R2CITIES project. Her role included using building energy modeling programs to determine the effects of different energy efficiency strategies on building energy performance, and preparing reports for the EU committee.

Tuğçe Aker completed their Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering at Namık Kemal University from 2006 to 2010. Tuğçe then obtained their Master's Degree in Energy Science and Technology from Istanbul Technical University from 2011 to 2016. Currently, they are pursuing their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mechanical Engineering at Istanbul Technical University, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
