Ruth Acton currently serves as the Director of Finance Administration and Treasurer of the Board of Directors at the Friedreich's Ataxia Research Alliance (FARA) since 2012. Prior to this role, Ruth held the position of Manager in Finance and Accounting at Schering-Plough from 1992 to 1999. Ruth's academic background includes a Master in International Business Studies with a focus on Finance and French from the University of South Carolina Darla Moore School of Business, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in International Business and French from Alma College.
