Monika Wydeven is an experienced archaeology field technician with a diverse background in various archaeological projects since 2021. Currently, Monika works for Kautz Environmental Consultants, Inc. and Far Western Anthropological Research Group, Inc., contributing to significant surveys and data recovery projects. Previous roles include fieldwork and lab work with Applied Archaeological Research, Inc. and Historical Research Associates, Inc., where Monika was involved in data recovery, monitoring, and artifact processing. Monika also has experience in project management and coordination from positions at Portland Homeless Family Solutions and Habitat for Humanity, demonstrating strong leadership and community engagement skills. Monika holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and Anthropology from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
