Kaely Colligan

Kaely Colligan has extensive work experience in the field of cultural resources management. Kaely began their career as an Archaeologist at Far Western Anthropological Research Group, Inc. in 2009 and held this position until 2018. During this time, they gained experience in archaeological survey, excavation, database management, pre- and post-field data management, and report support. In 2018, they were promoted to the role of Director of Data Management at the same company, where they oversee the transcribing, organizing, and finalizing of records search and field-collected data.

In addition to their work at Far Western, Colligan also served as an Assistant Editor at the Journal of California and Great Basin Anthropology from 2013 to 2019. As an Assistant Editor, they contributed to the publication by assisting with editorial tasks.

Kaely Colligan attended the University of California, Santa Cruz from 2005 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor of Art in Anthropology. In 2007 and 2008, they also attended Cabrillo College, specializing in the Archaeological Tech Program. In 2016, Kaely enrolled at San Jose State University, currently pursuing an Advanced Certificate in Digital Assets and Services with a focus on the School of Information, Digital Assets and Services.
