Jonathan Slavich CPA is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer for Far North District Council since July 2023. Prior to this role, Jonathan held the position of Chief Financial Officer and Director of Corporate Services at NorthTec from October 2018 to July 2023. Jonathan has a strong background in banking and financial services, with previous positions at Commonwealth Bank, where roles included Manager of Group Treasury and Finance Manager for Institutional Banking & Markets, as well as Senior Financial Analyst. Jonathan began career experience at GE Capital, progressing from Senior Finance Analyst to Financial Accountant, and contributing significantly to corporate finance and financial planning functions. Earlier experience includes a role as Business Analyst at Pacific Retail Finance. Jonathan earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Auckland and is a certified CPA.
