Eric Booth has worked in a variety of roles in the research field since 2003. Eric began their career as a Graduate Part-Time Instructor at Texas Tech University, before becoming a Research Consultant at VOCL Research in 2005. In 2008, they took on the role of Senior Research Consultant at Copia Consulting. From 2007 to 2013, they worked at Texas A&M University as a Research Faculty and Lecturer at the Public Policy Research Institute. In 2013, they moved to the Gibson Consulting Group as a Senior Research Scientist, where they were responsible for research and program evaluation, as well as advanced statistical analyses. Since 2019, they have been the Senior Director of Research and Senior Research Statistician at Far Harbor, LLC.

Eric Booth received their Bachelor's degree in Political Science and English from Midwestern State University in 2003. Eric then went on to receive their Master's degree in Political Science from Texas Tech University in 2006. In 2005, they also completed a Social Science Statistical Training program at ICPSR at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Finally, they completed their ABD (Ph.D.) in Political Science/Policy from Texas Tech University in 2011.
