Luis Urrea has a diverse background in software engineering and development. Luis most recently worked as a Lead Software Engineer at FanDuel starting in 2021. Prior to that, they were a Site Reliability Engineer at buildit @ Wipro Digital from 2020 to 2021. From 2019 to 2019, they held the role of Full Stack Engineer at Buildit @ Wipro Digital. Luis also worked as a Full Stack Software Developer at Connect-Auto from 2016 to 2018. Before that, they were a Senior Software Developer at G2G3 (part of Capita plc) from 2015 to 2016. Luis started their career as a Software Developer at Spark - Bringing Energy to Life from 2012 to 2015 and as a Flosuite Technical Support Engineer at Thomson Reuters from 2011 to 2012. Luis began their professional journey as a Trainee Software Developer at Flosuite from 2010 to 2011.

Luis Urrea holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Science from Edinburgh Napier University, which they obtained in the academic year 2008-2009. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Physics at Universidad Autonoma de Madrid from 2002 to 2007. In 2020, they obtained certifications as a Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) and a Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) from The Linux Foundation.
