Priyanka Naidoo has extensive experience in food safety and quality management, currently serving as the Group Total Quality and Food Safety Coordinator at Famous Brands since April 2018. Key responsibilities include the implementation and management of the iComply food safety management system, providing consultancy across nine manufacturing plants, and ensuring compliance with various regulatory standards such as FSSC 22000 and ISO 22000. Priyanka has successfully passed multiple audits with minimal findings, achieved zero customer complaints and product failures over a specified period, and spearheaded the development of a supplier performance management system. Prior experience includes roles at Famous Brands as Total Quality and Food Safety Manager for a bakery plant, as well as a Bioprocessing Intern at the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Microbiology and foundations in Project Management.
