Ron Deal is an accomplished expert in stepfamily education and family therapy, currently serving as the Director of FamilyLife Blended at FamilyLife since January 2012, where responsibilities include overseeing educational resources and training for blended families. As the President of Smart Stepfamilies since 1997, Ron founded the leading ministry dedicated to stepfamily education and operates the largest website for stepfamilies globally. Previous roles include Family Life Minister at Southwest Church of Christ and Eastside Church of Christ, focusing on family strengthening programs and therapeutic services. Ron holds a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Abilene Christian University and dual Bachelor's degrees in Biblical Studies and Family Studies from Oklahoma Christian University.
