Kenyn Cureton

Vice President For Christian Resources at Family Research Council

Kenyn Cureton has a strong background in Christian resources and church ministries. Kenyn served as the Vice President for Christian Resources at the Family Research Council from July 2019 onwards. Prior to that, they held the role of Vice President for Church Ministries at the same organization from October 2006 to June 2019. Kenyn Cureton also worked as the Vice President for Convention Relations at the Southern Baptist Convention Executive Committee from September 2005 to September 2006. Before that, they served as the Senior Pastor at First Baptist Church Lebanon from August 2000 to August 2005, where they led various initiatives such as a church-wide study, mission outreach programs, and the development of the church's website and television commercials.

Kenyn Cureton began their education in 1983 at Carson-Newman University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion in 1985. Kenyn continued their studies at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary from 1986 to 1993, earning both a Master of Divinity and a Ph.D. in New Testament and Theology.
