Susana Rodriguez, MSW, LICSW has a diverse range of work experience spanning various roles and organizations. Starting in 2012, they worked as a Community Organizer for Out Now, representing an LGBT organization in Springfield and supporting queer youth. In 2013, they interned as a Clinical Social Work Intern at Family Health Center of Worcester, Inc., providing therapy services to clients of different ages and backgrounds. From 2014, they held multiple roles at Family Health Center of Worcester, Inc., including Integrated Behavioral Health Provider, where they collaborated with primary care providers to provide comprehensive care to diverse patients. Susana later became a School Based Behavioral Health Clinician and Manager, overseeing grant-funded school-based programs and providing clinical supervision to behavioral health clinicians. Susana'smost recent role, starting in March 2020, is as the School Based Health Centers Director, where they manage a team of healthcare providers and ensures compliance with program grants.
Susana Rodriguez earned their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology and Dance from Smith College in 2012. Susana then pursued further education at the Smith College School for Social Work, where they obtained their Master of Social Work (MSW) degree with a specialization in Clinical Social Work from 2012 to 2014.
In addition to their formal education, Susana has obtained several certifications. In 2012, they participated in the Social Justice Mediation Training program offered by the Social Justice Mediation Institute. In 2016, they completed DBT Skills Trained certification from The Bridge of Central Massachusetts. More recently, in 2017, Susana obtained their EMDR Level I certification from EMDRIA. Susana is also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, a credential they earned from the Board of Registration of Social Workers in May 2017.
