Tom Taylor is currently the Chief Development Officer at Family & Children's Services, but they have plenty of experience in the social services field. Prior to their current position, Tom served as the Executive Director & CEO of Emergency Infant Services from October 2011 to November 2016. In this role, Tom managed the day-to-day operations of the 501c3 non-profit, including networking, fundraising, budgeting, and social media. Tom also oversaw the staff, Board of Directors, and volunteers.
Before their time at Emergency Infant Services, Tom was the Executive Director and CEO of HeartLine, Inc. and 2-1-1 from December 2007 to July 2011. In this role, Tom managed the day-to-day operations of the 501c3 non-profit, including networking, fundraising, budgeting, and suicide prevention outreach. Tom also oversaw the 24/7, 365 day a year operation that served the entire State with its Suicide Prevention Lifelines and Problem Gambling Helpline, and Central Oklahoma with 2-1-1 and the Careline.
Tom Taylor has a BS in Business Management, Marketing with a minor in Communications from Phillips University. Tom also has an MBA from Oklahoma City University. Tom has a certification in Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training from Columbia University. Tom was an honor student in high school.
Their manager is Gail Lapidus, CEO. They work with Whitney Downie - Chief Program Officer, Children’s Mental Health & Family Support, Ann Jenkins - Chief Clinical Services Officer, and Alan Bingham - Chief Human Resources Officer.
