Leslie Ramos Escobar is an experienced educator with a diverse background in teaching and tutoring. Currently serving as a Bilingual Literacy Coach at Families & Communities Rising since September 2023, Leslie previously worked as a tutor at Best Brains Learning Centers. Leslie has held various teaching positions, including first-grade teacher at PEAK CHARTER ACADEMY, where a focus on differentiated learning and workshop-style education was emphasized. Additional roles include summer instructor for third grade math, kindergarten teacher at Rocky Mount Prep, and guest English teacher in South Korea. Leslie's early career also includes experience as an AmeriCorps member and teacher assistant, complemented by significant tutoring experience. Leslie holds a Master's degree in Education from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and East Asian Studies from Smith College.
