James Gentile has more than 19 years of experience in healthcare compliance, regulatory oversight, management, and operations. As Fallon’s Senior Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer, Gentile oversees all regulatory, privacy, and compliance matters as well as an internal audit for the organization.
Previously, Gentile served as Fallon’s Vice President of Regulatory Affairs & Compliance and played a significant role in helping to guide Fallon’s commercial program through unprecedented regulatory changes, including Mass. Health Care Reform and the Affordable Care Act.
Prior to his role at Fallon, Gentile was with the Massachusetts Office of the Attorney General. He also was Chief Claims Administrator at Allmerica Financial.
Gentile graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of arts in economics from Saint Anselm College and earned a Juris Doctor at Massachusetts School of Law. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) Project of Worcester.
