Fahad Patel has worked in the field of mechanical design for the past seven years. In 2015, they began as a Research and Development Technician at Regency Fireplace Products, where they were responsible for ensuring adherence to standards for health and safety performance, conforming to internal procedures and policies, and providing written technical reports. In 2018, they moved to Weldco Companies, where they worked as a Mechanical Design Technologist, designing, detailing and verifying shop drawings and specifications, as well as product documentation and participating in design review of new products. In 2019, they joined JBS Equipment as a Mechanical Designer, where they designed and developed models, assemblies, drawings, diagrams and schematics for immediate use by the production departments, assisted in the design and development of new products and other projects, and performed ongoing maintenance and updates to existing product data. Currently, they are employed at Falkbuilt Ltd. as an Advanced Inventor Designer.

Fahad Patel obtained an Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Design from Centennial College between 2011 and 2014. Fahad also has a certification in Certified SOLIDWORKS Associate from LinkedIn, which they obtained in May of 2018.
