Michael Evans, MA, CFP, CSM, CSPO has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Michael began their career as a Financial Advisor at an independent company in 1999. In 2001, they joined FaithLife Financial as a Field Training Specialist, where they developed training curriculum and implemented training plans for various projects. In 2005, they moved on to PIB Financial as a Financial Planner, working with business owner clients and conducting business requirements analysis. From 2011 to 2018, Michael worked at Serenia Life Financial, first as a Senior Business Analyst and later as the Director of Sales & Distribution Operations. In these roles, they were responsible for managing sales tools and processes, delivering new products to the sales force, and enhancing business operations processes. Overall, Michael has a diverse background in finance, training, and operations.

Michael Evans, MA, CFP, CSM, CSPO, holds a Master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Waterloo, which they obtained from 1993 to 1997. Michael also has a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Economics from Dalhousie University, completed from 1989 to 1991. Additionally, Michael has several certifications, including being a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from the Scrum Alliance, obtained in March 2023. Michael is also a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and has completed various other certifications throughout their career, such as SQL Essential Training, Leading Others Effectively, LOMA Level I, and the Canadian Security Course.
