David Caputo has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering. David started their career in 1988 as an Electrical Engineer at Biagi, Chance, Cummins, London, Titzer, Inc, where they designed electrical power, lighting, and control systems for institutional and industrial facilities. David then moved on to work as an Electrical Engineer at John Brown Engineering and Construction, where they designed power, lighting, and control systems for various industrial facilities. In 1992, they joined Coad, Rascovar and Associates as a Senior Electrical Engineer, where they reviewed and implemented the initial Lambert-St. Louis International Airport Master Plan. David also coordinated utility relocations and designed airfield lighting systems. From 1994 to 2002, they worked at Ross & Baruzzini, Inc. as a Senior Project Engineer, where they designed airport security systems and managed large-scale projects. In 2002, they became a Senior Engineer at The Core Group, where they designed and managed projects for airport, healthcare, and educational facilities. The company later merged with Faith Group, LLC in 2014, and David Caputo continued working there as a Senior Engineering Project Manager, responsible for the design and project management of multimillion-dollar communications and security projects. David develops detailed engineering drawings and specifications and oversees construction administration and commissioning. In 2019, they were promoted to the role of Director of Design/Senior Project Manager/Engineer.
David Caputo attended the University of Southern Indiana from 1982 to 1987, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering Technology. Furthermore, they have an EIT certification from the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency, but the specific month and year of its obtainment are not provided.
