Karen Tongue currently serves as the Senior Pastor at Faith Community Church since April 2021 and as a Customer Service/Photographer at JCPenney Portraits since October 2020. Previously, Karen held the position of Assistant Pastor at Faith Community Church @ Harwood, MD from April 2016 to April 2021 and worked in customer service at Anne Arundel Medical Center from June 2005 to September 2017. Karen has extensive experience in administrative support, having worked as a Secretary for the US Information Agency, State Department, and USSGA from 1983 to 2011. Academically, Karen earned a Bachelor of Science in Christian Studies from Grand Canyon University and also holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from Trinity College. Further education at South University is ongoing.
