Alexandra Urban is a seasoned coffee professional currently serving as Coffee Manager at Fairtrade International since February 2023. Urban operates a coffee consultancy and training firm since May 2016, offering expertise as a Coffee Consultant, Authorized SCA Trainer, CQI Quality Evaluation Lecturer, and Q Arabica Grader. Involved with Roasters United since November 2020 as Coordinator, Urban previously worked as a Coffee Consultant for Traidcraft (2017-2021) and Fairtrade Deutschland as Business Development Manager Coffee (2020-2021). Urban's extensive experience also includes roles at GEPA The Fair Trade Company, Handelsblatt, and the International Labour Organization (ILO). Educational achievements include becoming a Quality Evaluation Assistant Instructor with the Coffee Quality Institute and obtaining multiple certifications from the Specialty Coffee Association and other institutions, demonstrating a strong commitment to advancing expertise in the coffee industry.
