Vanessa Konate is a seasoned professional in health program management with significant experience in developing and implementing health systems, particularly in neglected tropical diseases and inclusive health care. Currently serving as the Responsable de Programmes at FAIRMED since November 2022, Vanessa oversees program management in Central African Republic and Cameroon. Previously, Vanessa held various roles, including Regional Representative for Burkina Faso, Mali, and Côte d'Ivoire at Asmae - Association Soeur Emmanuelle, where responsibilities included project coordination, stakeholder representation, and operational management. Additional experience includes serving as Adjointe à la Cheffe de Délégation at Terre des hommes, providing technical assistance for UNAIDS in West and Central Africa, and representing CBM Global Disability Inclusion in Burkina Faso. Vanessa holds a Master's degree in humanitarian program management from the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine and a degree in public health from the École de santé publique de Nancy I.
