Matteo Tesser is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the financial technology sector. As the CEO of Fairmat since May 2011, Tesser has successfully transitioned the company from financial consulting to a leading RegTech provider, focusing on financial risk management services and precontractual documentation. Prior to this role, Tesser served as an external supervisor for operational research MSc dissertations at the University of Edinburgh and worked at Fermat Consulting as a Software Engineer and product manager, overseeing software development. Tesser holds a degree in Engineering, Computer Science from Università degli Studi di Padova and a PhD in Operational Research from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, specializing in electricity generation planning in liberalized markets.
