Stuart Tennant is a highly skilled Senior Mining Engineer and Senior Engineering Geologist with extensive experience in rock and soil slope stability assessment and mine remediation, primarily at JWH Ross and Fairhurst since August 2016. In these roles, Stuart has worked on projects for clients such as Network Rail and Historic Environment Scotland, focusing on mineral stability risk assessments and the stabilization of old mine shafts. Early career roles included Graduate Mining Engineer and engineering geologist positions, which involved supervising geo-environmental ground investigations for various infrastructure and residential projects. Stuart began a career in customer service as a bicycle mechanic and shop assistant while completing studies at the University of Glasgow, where a Bachelor of Science in Geology/Earth Science was earned.
