Lawrence Whitener has extensive work experience in the film industry. Lawrence has worked as an Executive Producer for DOG-e TheMovie, LLC since 2021. Prior to that, they held various roles at SAG-AFTRA, including Director and Best Actor. Lawrence has also worked as a Screenwriter for the Writers Guild of America West and Writers Guild of America East - WGAE. Additionally, Lawrence has excelled as a Screenwriter, winning awards for their scripts and writing for popular shows and films. Lawrence has also worked as a Professional Actor and Director, gaining experience in various aspects of show business. Lawrence has been recognized for their work at film festivals and has served as a judge for the New York City Independent Film Festival.

Lawrence Whitener received their Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Government from Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts. Lawrence attended this institution from 1971 to 1975. Many years later, from 2012 to 2016, they pursued Off Campus studies at Yale University, focusing on Playwriting and Screenwriting. Lawrence also obtained a certification as a Problem Animal Control Agent from the ASPCA in March 2022.
