Victoria has extensive knowledge of the business, having started with Fairbrother as the receptionist and welcoming face of the business in 1977.
With a keen attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills, Victoria quickly assumed wider secretarial duties and moved to managing the payroll for 16 years.
As the business has grown, Victoria has embraced new responsibilities and, in her current role of Board and Executive Secretary, provides a critical service to the business and its leaders, including specialist PA services to Chairman Royce Fairbrother.
She efficiently manages the preparation of all documents and minutes for the Board, Executive and Divisional Management Meetings as well as the company AGM. She also coordinates company travel and staff/corporate uniforms across all their Tasmanian and Victorian offices.
Indeed, Victoria has a vast and unique knowledge of all facets of the business, having, over the years, coordinated the company newsletter, new company logos, key celebrations, the book launch for the Fairbrother story, Shaking the Foundations, and countless training courses and seminars.
Throughout all her roles, Victoria’s outstanding attention to detail, unwavering work ethic, integrity, passion for customer service, and ability to relate to people of all levels has embedded her as a key part of the Fairbrother family and business.
In 2018, Victoria’s significant knowledge, experience and contribution to the Tasmanian construction industry was recognised by Master Builders Tasmania when she received the coveted Women In Construction award.
