Eric Kessels is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in cloud infrastructure and IT management. Currently serving as CTO and CISO at Fairbanks International Group since March 2013, Eric Kessels leads a team of high-tech solution experts, focusing on OpenStack, Ceph, and Kubernetes to create innovative cloud solutions. As a member of the OpenInfra Advisory board, Eric Kessels actively promotes and organizes technical events for the OpenInfra foundation in Europe. Previous roles include ownership of Share-It, consultancy at ABP Dynamics B.V. and XBI, and management of IT infrastructure at Prime Champ B.V., showcasing a strong background in business process analysis, project management, and systems implementation across various sectors. Eric Kessels holds degrees in Electronics, IT, and Management from the Royal Dutch Navy, along with a Mavo degree in Mathematics.
