Jamie McMillan, SHRM-CP, M.T.S. has a diverse work history with experience in various roles and industries. They began their career at AOL as a Facilities Supervisor from 2007 to 2010. Following that, they worked as an Executive Assistant to the President & CEO at Enterprise Homes, Inc. from 2010 to 2011. They then moved to Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service, where they served as an Executive Assistant to the President and CEO from 2012 to 2015, and later as an HR Administrator from 2015 to 2017. At HIAS, Jamie worked as a Human Resources Generalist from 2017 to 2018, and then as a Human Resources and Administration Manager from 2018 to 2019. Jamie's most recent position is at the Fair Labor Association, where they started as a Global Administration Manager in 2019, moved on to become the Global HR and Administration Manager from 2020 to 2022, and currently holds the role of Director, Operations since June 2022.
Jamie McMillan has a strong educational background with a focus on biblical studies and natural sciences. They obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from The Johns Hopkins University in the Natural Sciences Area between 1994 and 1998. Following this, they pursued further education and completed a Master of Theological Studies (M.T.S.) in Biblical Studies from Wesley Theological Seminary between 2003 and 2007. In addition to their academic achievements, Jamie McMillan has also obtained additional certifications. They obtained their SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from SHRM in February 2017 and achieved the Project Management for Development Professionals Level 1 (PMD PRO 1) certification from APMG International in April 2015.
