Honor Byrne possesses extensive experience in the hospitality and tourism sectors, with a current role in Enterprise Development at Fáilte Ireland since July 2021, focusing on Ireland's Ancient East. Prior to this position, Honor served as Commercial Director and Director of Sales & Marketing at CLIFF from January 2012 to July 2021, and held the position of Area Sales Manager at Hilton from June 2009 to February 2012. Additional roles included Business Development Manager at Clarion Hotel and Group Food and Beverage Manager at Fitzpatrick Lifestyle Hotels, starting from 2006 and 2002, respectively. Honor's career commenced as Bar Manager at Thomas Read from 1998 to 2002. Educational qualifications include an M.A. in Tourism Management and Destination Leadership from the Technology University of the Shannon, as well as diplomas in Digital Marketing Strategy and Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Marketing. Honor also holds a Higher Diploma in Hospitality Management from Technological University Dublin and a BSc in Business Management from Trinity College Dublin.
