Joseph Maki is an experienced professional in user experience and software development, currently serving as VP and Principal UX Lead at FactSet since October 2021. Prior to FactSet, Maki held the position of VP of UX at Cobalt Software, Inc. from January 2021 to October 2021. Maki's extensive background includes roles as Director of User Experience and Senior UI Engineer at BISON from April 2012 to January 2021, and as Web Developer and Software Engineer at Del Padre Digital, Inc. from January 2007 to April 2012. Additionally, Maki worked as a self-employed web developer and consultant from 2007 to 2012, and served as Lead Software Engineer for the Space Science Institute - Subcontractor, where development of an authoring tool for the NSF-ISE funded STEPS project took place, in collaboration with user experience researchers to improve user interface design and overall user experience.
