Julian Marcos Luquez has worked in various roles in the data engineering and analytics field since 2016. In 2016, they worked as a BI Analyst and BI Consultant at Deloitte Argentina, where they migrated and tested more than 100 ETLs using Microsoft SSIS and Oracle PowerCenter, as well as migrated and tested 50+ stored procedures using SQL Server and Oracle database. In 2021, they worked at Pipol Hub as a Data Engineer, where they created and maintained the company's main data warehouse using BigQuery, improved overall performance of dashboards, website and customer response by 300%, and automated over 50 processes in 3 months using Google BigQuery and Google Cloud Functions (Python). Finally, in 2022, they worked at Factored as a Data Engineer, where they developed, implemented and deployed 10 ingestion data pipelines for a Juice retail and subscription company using Airflow as orchestration tools and DBT as main transformation tool, including SFTP, Fivetran native and custom connections, and implemented 6 custom Fivetran connections to consume third party APIs using Lambda functions (Python).
Julian Marcos Luquez has a Software Engineer degree from Universidad del Salvador, which they obtained in 2020 after studying Engineering from 2012 to 2020. In 2021, they obtained a Business Intelligence diploma from Centro de e-Learning UTN FRBA, where they studied Business Intelligence. Julian Marcos also has three certifications: DBT Fundamentals from dbt Labs, obtained in 2022; Databases: Advanced Topics in SQL from Stanford Online, obtained in 2020; and Advanced Google Analytics from Google, obtained in 2020.
