Peter Schmidt has a vast work experience in the field of design. Peter currently holds the position of Head of Design at Faction since January 2020. Prior to this, they were the owner of Peter Schmidt Design for over 40 years, from 1980 to July 2022. Throughout their career, they have worked as an Industrial Design Consultant for various companies, including Ghost, KAV, Cyngn, Spatial Inc., Podtek Inc., WordLock Inc, and SurfaceInk Product Design & Development. Peter also served as the Director of Design at Lyve Minds Inc. from November 2012 to September 2015.

Peter Schmidt attended Pratt Institute from 1972 to 1975, where they studied Industrial and Product Design.
