Jordi (George) Argente

Jordi (George) Argente has a long and varied work experience. Jordi (George) began their career in 1998 as Managing Partner, Asia-Pacific ex-Japan at Kurt Salmon, where they were responsible for leading strategy and operations consulting organization based in Atlanta, GA, USA. In 1999, they became the CEO and Founder of Mercatela Holdings Inc., where they were responsible for group P&L, leading strategy and execution, recruiting and managing the senior team, and handling investor relations and reporting. In 2001, they became President and Founder of Applied Biotech Ltd., where they were responsible for venture development in digital media, clean-tech and new materials. Jordi (George) also served as Corporate Development Advisor for Qualigenics Inc. In the same year, they became President of New Market Venture Management LLC, where they were an investment banker, seed and pre-seed investor, and growth strategy advisor to entrepreneurs in startups landing in Silicon Valley. In 2013, they became an Advisor and Investor at Visualnet Inc. In 2017, they became an Advisor, Interim CFO and Co-founder at FACTIC, Inc., a San Francisco and Barcelona-based Artificial Intelligence platform for predictive analytics in Food and Beverage using Big Data and Machine Learning. In 2020, they became an Advisor at Peak Pacific Group, focusing on corporate development globally. Finally, in 2021, they became Managing Director at Woodside Capital Partners and Investor Relations at SCEPTER INC.

Jordi (George) Argente's education history includes a Dual Bachelor and Master in Business Administration (MBA) from Esade, which they obtained between 1978 and 1983 with a focus in Finance and Marketing. In 1982 and 1983, they also obtained a Master of International Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management, with a focus in International Business. Additionally, they have obtained three certifications from FINRA in 2021, including the SIE - Securities Industry Exam, the Series 63, and the Series 79.
