Charlie Lane is an experienced electrical engineer and team lead, currently working at FABRUM since June 2023 and previously at EMP Motorcycles as the founder, where the focus is on creating customizable and easily repairable electric motorcycles. Prior roles include electrical engineer positions at Industrial Controls South Canterbury Ltd from May 2021 to June 2023 and Comtec Consulting from January 2018 to April 2021. Charlie Lane holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Canterbury, completed in 2017, and is currently pursuing further education in Hazardous Area Classification and Design and a certification as a Functional Safety Application Expert from SGS-TÃœV Saar.
