Kanyatip Tantikom is an experienced engineering and management professional with a career spanning from 1994 to the present. Currently serving as the General Manager at Fabrinet since July 2005, Kanyatip oversees various business sectors, including Telecommunication, Networking, and Industrial Lasers. Prior positions at Fabrinet include Director of Operations and Senior Engineering Manager, where Kanyatip led business units for advanced optical technologies. Kanyatip began the professional journey as a Researcher at Asia Science and Education for Economic Development and also contributed as a Post-doctoral researcher at The University of Tokyo. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Materials Engineering from The University of Tokyo, a Master's degree in Metallurgical Engineering from Chulalongkorn University, and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Srinakharinwirot University.
