Steffen Ritzer began their career in 2008 as a Geschäftsbereichscontroller at Leipziger Verkehrsbetriebe (LVB) GmbH. In 2013, they moved to FLYERALARM as a Controller. In 2014, they joined SD Worx Deutschland as a Kaufmännischer Leiter (a.I.), Leiter Controlling, and Senior Controller. Most recently, in 2021, they took on the role of Finance & Controlling Manager at Faaren GmbH.

Steffen Ritzer completed their Diplom in Wirtschaftsmathematik at HTWK Leipzig between 2003 and 2008.
