Tamika Shung has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Tamika currently works as a Program Analyst at U.S. Customs and Border Protection, starting in August 2019. Prior to this, they served as the VP of Public Relations for a local Toastmasters club, where they developed the PR brand and promoted the club using various tools and resources. Tamika also worked as a self-employed web and graphic designer as a Freelance Graphic Designer since January 2003. In 2017, they briefly worked as a Procurement Manager for a government contract. Tamika'sprevious experience includes roles at Micron Technology, where they served as a Regional Supplier Manager from August 2016 to March 2017, and as a Buyer from January 2007 to March 2017. Tamika also held the position of Secretary at Toastmasters International from 2012 to 2013. Additionally, Tamika served in the US Army from 1993 to 2006 as a Medical Logistics Specialist and later as an Army Recruiter from 2000 to 2003.
Tamika Shung has an education history that includes a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Technical Management from DeVry University, which they completed from 2011 to 2012. Prior to that, they attended The Art Institute of Pittsburgh from 2008 to 2010, where they earned an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Graphic Design.
