Jennifer Smith Tapp has over 15 years of work experience in the fashion and media industry. Jennifer began their career in 2007 as the Editor in Chief of Kouture Magazine, where they collaborated with the Publisher to create and set the editorial tone of the publication, based on the desired target audience. Jennifer also recruited and managed a staff of editors and writers, as well as developed concepts for photo stories and features.
In 2010, they began freelancing as a Fashion Writer, writing features and articles focused on fashion and style, designer and industry leader profiles and reviews of the collections.
In 2015, Jennifer became the Director of Editorial and Brand Strategy for Chicago Woman Magazine, a lifestyle magazine and media brand that reaches women who live, work, and play in Chicago.
From 2018 to 2022, Jennifer was the Director of Brand Strategy and Business Development for the Marc-Ryan Group.
Currently, Jennifer is a Brand Strategist and Content Director for Eyes4Research.
Jennifer Smith Tapp attended Florida State University from 1991 to 1995, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Art History and Classical Archaeology.
