Brendan B. serves as the Innovation Lead in the Office of the CTO at Extreme Networks, leading the prototype and innovation group to drive future-ready solutions for customers and partners. Previously, Brendan held the role of Chief Technologist at IDA Ireland, where strategic insights into global technology trends were provided to enhance Ireland's appeal for technology investment. As a co-founder and chair of Blockchain Ireland, Brendan facilitated collaboration among industry, academia, and SMEs to position Ireland as a global blockchain hub. Extensive experience at Ericsson included roles as Head of New XaaS Business and Engineering Lead for Mobile Identity, focusing on service delivery and business transformation. Brendan's career also features significant contributions at Logica Mobile Networks and earlier software engineering roles in various companies. Brendan holds a Master in Science in Artificial Intelligence from Dublin City University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Software Engineering from the University of Greenwich.
