Emelia Aukee has a diverse work experience in the music industry. Emelia began their career as a Music Services Intern at NBCUniversal, Inc. in 2014. Emelia then worked as a Music Supervision Intern at Rick Clark Productions before joining PlayNetwork as a Temporary Office Coordinator in 2015. Emelia also briefly served as a Receptionist at Dick Clark Productions during the same year.

In 2016, Emelia joined Extreme Music as a Digital Content Associate/Music Supervision Associate. Emelia later advanced to become a Senior Music Supervision Associate, where they were responsible for keywording/tagging metadata for new music and curating playlists for clients based on project briefs. In 2019, they were promoted again to the role of Manager Music Services US, where they managed a bi-coastal music team, trained new hires in metadata usage, oversaw creative aspects of trending playlists and music searches, and developed CRM practices. Currently, Emelia holds the position of Senior Manager of Music Services US at Extreme Music, which they started in July 2022.

Emelia Aukee's education history begins in 2011 when they attended Western Michigan University. Emelia studied piano performance during their time there, although no specific degree was mentioned.
