Fahad Diwan, JD, FIP, CIPP/M, CIPP/C has extensive experience in the field of privacy and data governance. Fahad is currently the Director of Product Management for Privacy & Data Governance Products at Exterro. Prior to this role, Fahad founded and co-hosted the podcast "Privacy Tech Talk" and served as an Adjunct Professor at George Brown College, teaching cybercrime law. Fahad also worked at EY and KPMG as a PM focused on privacy tech and data privacy. Additionally, Fahad was a founding member of the National Canadian Lawyers' Initiative and has experience as an entrepreneur, founding companies such as SmartBail and SnapRefer. Earlier in their career, they worked at Norton Rose Fulbright.

Additionally, they have a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Accounting and Finance, where they graduated Summa Cum Laude, from Concordia University. Fahad has also obtained various certifications, including being called to the Bar of Ontario by the Law Society of Ontario. Fahad is a Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM), Certified Information Privacy Professional - Canada (CIPP/C), and a Fellow of Information Privacy, all from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). Furthermore, Fahad has a certification as a OneTrust Certified Privacy Professional from OneTrust, and they have also completed courses in Python and SQL from CodeAcademy.
