Katia Formiglio has a diverse work experience in software development and computer technician roles. Katia started their career in 2009 as a computer technician at Laris Editrice. Katia then worked as a software developer at REHA Istituto Tecnico Ortopedico from October 2009 to November 2010. Katia joined Prometeo Srl in November 2010 as a computer technician and worked there until June 2011. From June 2011 to December 2013, they worked at Consilium Italy as a software developer. Katia then joined Navico RBU Italia in January 2014 and worked there until January 2016 as a software developer. In February 2016, they joined Alfazero S.p.A. as a software developer, where their responsibilities included developing embedded dashboards and controllers for electric vehicle charging stations. Currently, they are working at Extendi as a software developer.

Katia Formiglio received their Bachelor's Degree in Scienza e teoria dell'informatica from Università degli Studi di Siena, where they studied from 2003 to 2007. Later on, they pursued a Master's Degree (Master I livello) in GINTS, specializing in Gestione delle Istituzioni finanziarie, from the same university. This degree was obtained during the academic year 2008-2009.
